NOTIFICATION #1:

Supply Chain unveils enhanced resource utilization webpage

A new Resource Link page on the Supply Chain website now provides greater communication for individuals or departments seeking to fulfill requests for non-patient-care items, such as filing cabinets, desk trays, hanging file folders, binders and report covers. The page is most helpful when one department has excess items that another department needs. Listings will remain for 30 days or until the item has been allocated to fulfill a specific need. NOTIFICATION #2:

Sole Source Justification Process Change

Effective March 1, 2012

The Department of Finance Administration notified Purchasing that effective March 1, 2012, the previous Single Source Justification Form will no longer be accepted.  They are now requiring a Single Source Justification Letter in a narrative format including the item(s) requested, use of the item(s), and what is unique about the item(s).

 

Proceed to the Purchasing portion of our website or to our forms index to have the current and complete instructions for the letter and its contents.  Please use these guidelines completely which will expedite your request through the approval process.

Postage rates to increase Jan. 22, 2012

Effective Jan. 22, 2012, the cost of first-class postage will be raised to 45 cents. There also will be other increases to various postal services.
